Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Warehouse Attendant for our cold storage facility in North Carolina. The role involves safely operating reach trucks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move, store, retrieve, and stage frozen products while maintaining cold chain and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years forklift or reach truck operating experience.
• Current forklift certification.
• Experience in frozen or cold storage environments preferred.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 0°F to –20°F.
• Proficiency with RF scanners and WMS systems.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights in racking systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks, sit‑down forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial trucks safely.
• Move pallets to and from racks and perform put‑away, replenishment, and picking tasks.
• Follow FEFO rotation and maintain correct stock placement.
• Ensure accurate scanning, labeling, and documentation for product movement.
• Verify pallet counts, product codes, and temperature requirements.
• Report damaged product or inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Support loading/unloading and assist with cycle counts and slotting.
