Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 years’ related experience.
• Ability to install low voltage electrical wiring.
• Must obtain a DOT medical exam card per FMCSA.
• Must be able to drive vehicles up to 25,999 lbs GVW.
• Must maintain a safe driving record.
• Able to lift 31–50 lbs and work in a cold freezer environment.
• Must read/write/speak English fluently.
• Preferred: Facilities or Laboratory related experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor environmental storage units and respond to alarms.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on refrigeration equipment.
• Inspect and maintain Central Monitoring System and emergency generators.
• Assist with specimen relocations and on-call rotations.
• Participate in safety and operations procedures.
