Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. is seeking a Cold Production Cook to join our food service team at the Miami Beach location.

The role involves preparing meals to established quality and quantity standards, ensuring proper temperature controls, and supporting catering functions as needed. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and prefers candidates with prior food service experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent years of experience required.
• Experience: Food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consistently prepares food meeting established standards for quality and quantity.
• Assures taste-test and temperature control records are filled out each meal and problems are corrected.
• Performs all duties in an independent manner with little or no supervision.
• Follows instructions and learns from the Chef.
• Maintains trayline hot food areas in a sanitary condition, following all standard procedures.
• Cleans station, equipment, and utensils at the end of each meal according to procedures.
• Demonstrates a clear understanding of safety in the work area.
