  • Pay: $22 an hour
  • Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 11:00am - 7:30pm (Friday & Saturday OFF)

The Cold Prep Role requires a friendly, outgoing person with effective communication skills and attention to detail. The employee should work well independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to work mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Serve meals/snacks per recipes, measuring and assembling ingredients, maintaining sanitation
  • Ensure presentation and adherence to dietary restrictions
  • Follow food safety procedures, store leftovers properly
  • Understand weights, measures, and recipe conversions
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas
  • Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Work independently, identify tasks proactively

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in healthcare or customer service preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of foodservice equipment safety and operation
  • Adaptability, customer service skills, teamwork, problem-solving
  • Ability to pass background checks and provide work authorization documents

Physical and Sensory Requirements

  • Mobility for extensive standing and walking
  • Lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs, pushing hot boxes up to 50 lbs
  • Bending, stooping, manual dexterity, visual and auditory acuity
  • Exposure to temperature variations, sensory assessment of food
