Job summary

Nucor Steel Arkansas is seeking a Cold Mill Production Day Supervisor to lead a production team with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The role will place you in the area that best fits the Specialty Cold Mill needs, driving operational excellence and teamwork.

Candidate will be responsible for safety policy adherence, staff development, and achieving production targets in a fast-paced environment while maintaining Nucor's standards and culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Four years of steel manufacturing experience.
• Preference for Cold Mill or Hot Dip Galvanizing experience.
• Four-year STEM degree or equivalent work experience.
• Willingness to relocate for future opportunities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a production team while establishing a culture of safety awareness, team development, quality production, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be placed in the area that best fits the needs of the Specialty Cold Mill.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
