Job summary

Reunion Ktchn Bar in Aventura, FL is seeking a fast, clean line cook to own our cold line focused on raw dishes, salads and fried items. This full-time role requires about 40 hours per week, mainly nights, weekends and holidays, and offers benefits after 90 days.

You will prep crudos, ceviches and tartares, build salads, run the fryer, maintain mise en place and FIFO, and help other BOH stations as needed. Must have at least 1 year experience, food handler cert, and able to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant.
• Knife skills and experience handling raw fish and seafood safely.
• Food Handler certificate (or obtain within first week; course provided).
• Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation and on-time attendance.
• English or Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate raw dishes (crudos, ceviches, tartares) following recipes, portions and food-safety rules.
• Build salads and cold appetizers to spec for the three menus.
• Run the fryer station: fried appetizers and sides, oil checks and filtering.
• Set up and break down the station; keep mise en place, labeling, dating and FIFO up to standard.
• Keep ticket times on busy services and communicate with the expo and the rest of the line.
• Keep the station clean and sanitized all shift; help with prep and other BOH stations when needed.
