Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Mauston, Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated person to operate and setup cold-forming/header machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will draw and weld steel rod, monitor machine performance, take measurements, and maintain a clean workspace.

On-site work is required. Prior operator experience or strong mechanical aptitude is preferred, with training provided to develop the necessary skills for this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work on site in Mauston, WI.

Responsibilities

• Operate, watch, and eventually set up cold header machines.
• Draw steel rod coiled on holders and weld steel rod.
• Watch the machine run during production and measure parts.
• Keep the work area clean and wash tools.
• Assist with basic setup and maintenance as trained.
