Job summary

Linked, LLC in Michigan is seeking a hands-on Cold Forming Header Operator for the 2nd shift. This full-time, on-site role starts at 5PM and includes training before you operate the machines independently.

You will set up and operate cold forming/header machines, load material, monitor production, perform basic quality checks, read part prints, and assist with tooling changes and maintenance. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.

Shift: 2nd Shift, starting at 5PM
Training: Training provided before transitioning into the position

Position Summary

We are looking for a hands-on, dependable problem solver to operate and set up cold forming/header machines. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, getting dirty, figuring out problems, and learning new skills.

The right person does not need to know everything on day one. Training will be provided, with the expectation that you will learn to eventually set up and operate the machines independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate cold forming/header machines with training.
• Learn to perform machine setups independently.
• Load and feed material and adjust machine settings and tooling.
• Monitor machines and troubleshoot issues during production.
• Make adjustments to keep machines running properly and parts within specifications.
• Perform basic quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.

• Use forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
