Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring for Gourmet Dining & Chartwells Higher Education in West Long Branch, NJ to staff cold food (salad) preparation and service. Positions are full and part-time with afternoon/evening shifts. No remote work. Food service experience is a plus and the fixed pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

Food service experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Cuts deli meats, vegetables and cheeses using slicing machine, knives or other cutters.
Prepares and serves sandwiches, salads and other cold food items.
Stocks and replenishes deli/cold products and condiments following merchandising guidelines.
Stores food following HACCP standards with proper dating and rotation.
Cleans and sanitizes counters, work surfaces, and equipment to maintain sanitation.
