Job summary

Peddler's Son is seeking an order puller for a fast-paced, labor-intensive position in a refrigerated warehouse. You will fill customer orders, verify accuracy, and transfer products to the dock.

This role features 4-day workweeks, 10-hour shifts (3pm or 7pm), and temperatures around 30°F. Applicants must lift 50–75 pounds, perform under pressure, and maintain safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• Must have good physical stamina for a refrigerated warehouse environment.
• Able to perform basic math and reading comprehension under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Locate and accurately pull orders in a timely fashion (minimum 130 p/h, 150 p/h average).
• Stage orders together on the dock and load checked orders onto trucks as needed.
• Pull shorted items when assigned and ensure accuracy of pulled product.
• Follow inventory procedures (First in first out) and maintain a clean workspace.
• Communicate issues to supervisors and help identify ways to improve productivity.
