Job summary

Adecco is seeking an Order Selector to accurately pick, stage, and prepare customer orders in a fast-paced, refrigerated food-distribution setting. You will operate stand-up equipment and use RF scanners to ensure precise quantities and expiration dates, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, pass a forklift assessment, and be available Sunday through Thursday with overtime.

Qualifications

• Stand-up forklift or electric pallet-jack experience required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Must be available Sunday through Thursday and for mandatory overtime.

Responsibilities

• Select and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Operate a stand-up forklift or electric pallet jack.
• Use RF scanners, pick tickets, or warehouse systems to locate products.
• Verify item numbers, product quantities, and expiration dates.
• Build stable pallets and properly wrap completed orders.
• Label, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Move products throughout refrigerated and temperature-controlled warehouse areas.
• Report shortages, damaged products, and inventory discrepancies.
• Meet established productivity and order-accuracy expectations.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
