Job summary

Americold in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe, accurate receipt, storage and shipment of food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, pallet jacks and RF scanners.

You will load and unload freight, stack and store merchandise, check freight for accuracy and damage, label and pack as directed, and maintain a clean, organized work area while meeting production standards. OSHA safety rules apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently load and unload freight using proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise and pick orders for shipment.
• Check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation; label and pack as directed.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work environment and meet production standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned and assist with inventory and battery changes.
