Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Forklift Operator in Ontario, OR to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.

You will load/unload freight, stock and pick orders, and maintain safety and efficiency on the warehouse floor. The role requires reliability, basic math, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• One year of forklift experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, label/sort/wrap/pack as directed by management.
• Operate equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners) in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
