MRI / CT Technologist – Full-Time
Location: Plantation, FL Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Schedule: Day
About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist who holds active ARRT certifications in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) and Computed Tomography (CT). This role performs high-quality MRI and CT examinations while ensuring a safe, efficient and positive experience for every patient.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI and CT examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols
- Verify patient identity, clinical history and exam requirements
- Complete MRI safety screenings and identify contraindications
- Position patients accurately and select appropriate imaging techniques
- Administer contrast media per provider orders and facility protocols
- Monitor patients before, during and after exams, and respond appropriately to adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete exams within the imaging system
- Follow MRI safety, radiation safety, infection control, HIPAA and quality-assurance standards
- Perform routine equipment checks and report concerns promptly
- Maintain exam rooms, supplies and emergency equipment
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, radiologists and team members
- Assist with workflow and other imaging-related duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Current ARRT (R) certification in Radiography
- Current post-primary ARRT (MR) and ARRT (CT) certifications
- Current Florida Department of Health Certified Radiologic Technologist certification
- Current BLS certification
- Experience performing MRI and CT exams independently
- Knowledge of MRI screening and safety, radiation protection, contrast administration and emergency procedures
- Strong patient-care, communication, organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work full-time and meet the physical demands of the role
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an outpatient imaging environment
- Experience with contrast-enhanced MRI and CT exams
- Experience with PACS, RIS and EMR systems
- IV placement experience

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to assist with patient transfers and positioning
- Ability to lift or move equipment and supplies
- Ability to wear protective equipment and work near imaging devices
