Job summary

Rain Carbon Inc. seeks a Utility Operator to load petroleum coke, unload duties, and maintain cleanliness in the silo area and coke dock.

You will work on a 12-hour rotating shift and may be required for overtime to help maximize production and quality in line with company policies. The role requires operating various equipment, ensuring housekeeping, performing routine maintenance, and coordinating with vendors for material handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Bulk terminal and/or heavy equipment operation experience is a plus.
• Strong record keeping and attention to detail are essential.
• Microsoft Office and SAP skills are favorable.

Responsibilities

• Load green coke into 30-ton hoppers to feed the KFPs and maintain clean work areas.
• Operate mobile conveying equipment (e.g., pay loader, bobcat, forklift) and perform preventive maintenance checks.
• Communicate with outside vendors for pickup/delivery of products and supplies; follow permits and safety procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement of plant processes and perform product sampling as directed.
