Associated Spring / AMFT in Corry, PA is hiring a Coiling Machine Operator / Setup to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate machines that turn metal wire into springs and other formed parts, make machine adjustments, check parts for quality, and ensure safe, efficient production.

The role requires reading drawings and instructions, selecting tools, and maintaining production standards. Shift opportunities depend on seniority and openings within the plant.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate coiling machines as required.
• Read drawings, work instructions, and sample parts to interpret production requirements.
• Identify and install tools and components for each job.
• Adjust speeds/settings to maintain efficient production.
• Produce and inspect sample parts and obtain supervisor approval before starting production.
• Use measuring tools to verify finished parts throughout production.
• Troubleshoot machine and quality issues and adjust as needed.
• Prepare samples for heat treatment when required.

Associated Spring / AMFT is hiring a Coiling Machine Operator / Setup to join our manufacturing team in Corry, PA.

In this hands-on position, you will set up and operate machines that turn metal wire into springs and other formed parts. You will make machine adjustments, solve production problems, and check finished parts for quality.

Pay and Incentives

• Starting pay of $21.42 per hour.

• Opportunity to earn incentive pay.

• $1,500 sign-on bonus, paid in two installments: $750 after 90 days and $750 after one year of employment.
