Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN is seeking a Winder Operator to handle finished plastic strapping products and ensure quality standards are met. You will safely package materials for shipment at the on-site facility.

The role requires reading work instructions, basic math, and reliable attendance while working in a manufacturing environment with moving machinery and noise. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 months of manufacturing or production experience.
• Ability to read work instructions and perform basic math calculations.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate winding equipment to produce coils according to work orders.
• Remove completed coils and restart the winding process.
• Assist with machine setup and stock packaging materials.
• Perform quality checks using measuring tools and verify product specifications.
• Count, band, label, package, and prepare coils for shipping or storage.
• Complete production reports and maintain accurate records.
• Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean.
