Job summary

OGI Process Equipment in Sand Springs, OK is seeking a Coil Fitter Welder to fit and weld ASME code 100% x-ray coils. You will read blueprints, apply welding procedures, and document quality measures in a fabrication shop.

The role requires 4–5 years of welding experience and a 2-year welding-related degree is preferred; 6G pipe test and GTAW/FCAW skills are essential. This is a full-time, on-site position with safety standards in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass ASME Code Section 8 Welding test.
• 2-year technical degree or vocational certificate in welding preferred.
• 4 to 5 years of relevant experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind, and bolt components for welding.
• Examine workpieces and measure dimensions to meet specs.
• Read blueprints and plan welding layout and operations.
• Maintain records and production documentation.
• Operate forklift and crane and follow safety rules.
