Matrix Service Co. seeks a skilled FAB SHOP PIPE WELDER to perform welding per job specifications in an on-site shop in Catoosa, OK. The role requires reading blueprints, using measuring tools, and working with QA/QC to ensure precision.

Proficiency in arc gouging and multiple welding processes is essential, with overtime often required. Qualifications include related fabrication experience and certification in at least three welding processes, with GMAW/FCAW 6G required.

Qualifications

• Prior related experience and/or training in a fabrication environment.
• Must be certified in 3 of the following processes listed below. At a minimum must have GMAW / FCAW 6G.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding functions per job specifications and plans.
• Work with supervision and QA/QC to maintain accuracy.
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Assist in fit-up activities as directed by Leadman or Shop Foreman.
• Utilize measuring devices and weld symbols accurately.
• Read codes (ASME, API-650-620) and apply them on the shop floor.
