Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience in metal fabrication or steel processing is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Slitter Operator in setting up and operating the slitting machine to cut steel coils to specified dimensions.
• Monitor the slitting process to ensure quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of slitting equipment for safety and performance.
• Handle and transport steel coils and finished products using appropriate equipment and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot operational issues during slitting.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking material usage and reporting discrepancies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Comply with company policies and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
