Job summary

Hydro seeks a Maintenance Technician to inspect equipment in the welded tube area, perform preventive maintenance, and operate cranes for coil handling. The role requires precise use of measuring tools and adherence to 5S standards and safety guidelines.

You will ensure materials meet specifications and support continuous production flow. Strong math and reading blueprints are valued, along with the ability to multitask and maintain clear communication with team members.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform inspection of equipment in welded tube area.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Use measuring tools to measure tube OD, coil OD & ID.
• Operate hoist/cranes to remove material.
• Keep the WIP warehouses area clean and organized.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment in welded tube area including cranes and annealer.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure uptime.
• Operate cranes to handle coils and remove material.
• Ensure produced material meets specs and tolerances.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and tape measure for measurements.
• Maintain clean and organized workspace per 5S standards.
• Respond to abnormal conditions to maintain flow.
