Hydro is seeking a production operator at the Rockledge, FL welded tube facility. The role focuses on inspection, preventive maintenance, and operation of cranes to handle coils while ensuring product specifications are met.

You will work with measuring tools and inline systems, maintain a clean workspace, and uphold safety and quality standards in a dynamic production environment.

Qualificações

• Ability to perform basic math and measurements.
• Ability to read and interpret simple reference materials such as printed instructions and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to monitor repetitive operations.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect equipment in the welded tube area (cranes, annealer, coiler).
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Handle coils using cranes (jib/overhead).
• Ensure produced material meets specs (level wind, OD, etc.).
• Use micrometers, calipers, and tape measures to measure tube/coils/ID.
• Operate hoist/cranes to move materials.
• Maintain clean and organized work area per 5S standards.
• Set up and monitor in-line annealing, purge, marking systems.

What you will be doing

• Able to perform inspection of all equipment in the welded tube area including cranes, annealer, coiler, etc.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
• Use jib crane or overhead crane to handle coils.
• Ensure that material being produced conforms to specs and tolerances. (level wind, OD, etc.)
• Use of measurement tools to measure tube OD, coil OD & ID, etc. (micrometers, tape measure, calipers, etc.)
• Operate hoist/cranes to remove material from coiler. (time sensitive)
• Keep the WIP warehouses area clean and organized.
• MRT material if found out of spec
• Set-up, adjust, and monitor in-line annealing system
• Packs material according to procedures and instructions
• Set-up, adjust, and monitor purging system
• Set-up, adjust, and monitor marking systems
• Breaks to be taken outside of production down time. (profile change outs, set changes)
• Perform other related duties as assigned to maintain work flow or respond to emergency conditions.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures
• Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with 5 S standards.
• Requires the ability to perform all duties within limitation of the standard methods and procedures, and in accordance with strict adherence to HSE, quality and productivity requirements.
