SMS group is seeking a Forge Induction Coil Fabricator in Michigan to learn and perform heat induction forge coil repair. The role emphasizes induction heating, brazing, welding, CAD reading, and coil coating processes.

You will work with machinist tools, measuring instruments, and forklift operations while supporting all shop operations and adhering to safety protocols.

Formación

• Experience with induction heating is a plus.
• Familiarity with brazing, welding, and soldering is helpful.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment like calipers.
• Ability to read and follow CAD drawings.
• Background in manufacturing and machinist tools.
• Ability to break down coils and learn coating, painting and nylon dipping.
• Ability to complete paperwork related to tasks.
• Experience using Hi-lo/forklifts.
• Willingness to cover other operations as needed.

Summary

The Forge Induction Coil Fabricator will learn heat induction forge coil repair using the following skills:

• Induction heating experience a plus


• Knowledge of brazing, welding, and soldering helpful.


• Experience with precision measuring equipment, calipers.


• Experience with reading and following instructions from CAD drawings.


• Knowledge or experience with manufacturing, machinist tools, measuring instruments.


• Able to breakdown coils, along with learning coil coating process, painting and nylon dipping.


• Fill out paperwork associated with assigned work tasks.


• Ability to use Hi-lo/forklifts.


• Performs other duties, provides support and coverage on all operations as requested by supervisor.
