Job summary

Precoat Metals Washington Plant is seeking Production Workers for both entry level and skilled operator roles to staff our site for 24/7 operations. Responsibilities span coating lines, slitting, shipping, receiving, paint vault, and packaging, with growth toward more skilled line positions.

Starting pay rate is $21.60/hr, with advancement opportunities to operator positions paying between $28.64 and $36.60/hr.

Qualifications

• High school reading and writing ability required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team.
• Able to operate manual and electric hand tools.
• Available to work up to 12 hours on rotating shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and transport bare coils.
• Maintain flow to lines using cranes, forklifts, and upenders.
• Trim, package and band coils to spec.
• Inspect coils and report defects.
• Read and interpret production schedules.
• Identify proper skid and package on schedules.
• Read and record coil weights and order numbers.
• Load or unload coils onto/off trucks.
• Starting pay rate: $21.60/hr.
• Advancement opportunities to operator roles with higher pay.
