Job summary

MNP, a family-owned fastener manufacturer headquartered in southeast Michigan, is hiring a Line Bander Operator to support its Steel and Wire division. The role involves banding and tagging coils, performing quality checks, and completing paperwork, with a schedule of Mon-Thurs, Fri/Sat as needed, 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, can read instructions, stand and lift as required, and commit to perfect attendance during training.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined and able to read job instructions.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, lift and sit as needed.
• Able to complete required paperwork and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Band coils for shipment
• Perform final quality check before coils placed in row for shipment
• Tag coils with proper identification and fill out all required paperwork
• Assist Hilo drivers prepare coils for pickling
• Participate in 5S housekeeping
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
