Job summary

Maximus seeks an Occupational Therapist specializing in cognitive performance to support Service Members across multiple U.S. bases.

The role applies occupational analysis to mission demands and implements evidence-based cognitive interventions to improve attention, memory, executive control, and stress resilience. Candidates must hold an OT license (US) with NBCOT, possess 2+ years in cognitive rehab, and be eligible for a Secret clearance for contract performance.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in at least one U.S. state or territory.
• NBCOT certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance within six months of hire.
• Experience with cognitive rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation, human performance, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cognitive performance evaluations using standardized tools.
• Identify cognitive barriers affecting mission tasks and performance.
• Develop individualized cognitive performance plans targeting executive function and attention.
• Deliver cognitive training and performance workshops.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align resilience programming.
• Advise leadership on cognitive readiness trends and risk mitigation.
