Job summary

The University of New Mexico, School of Medicine, Neurology Department seeks a behavioral or cognitive neurologist to join our Memory and Aging team in an open rank, clinician educator track position dedicated to clinical care of individuals with cognitive disorders.

You will be part of a team of faculty providing high-quality cognitive care and join a multidisciplinary group of Neurology faculty within the Neurology Department, CMA, and ADRC.

Qualifications

• MD degree or equivalent.
• Board eligible or certified in Neurology or Psychiatry.
• Experience and training in neurological disease in older adults, especially dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders (ADRDs).
• Eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in the teaching and research activities of the department.
• Collaborate with CMA, ADRC, and multidisciplinary Neurology faculty.
