Job summary

The University of New Mexico, within the School of Medicine's Neurology Department, seeks a behavioral or cognitive neurologist or neuropsychiatrist to join the Memory and Aging team in an open rank clinician educator track. The role focuses on clinical care of individuals with cognitive disorders and contributes to an expanding cognitive neurology program.

The successful candidate will teach medical students, residents, and fellows and participate in the department's research activities,

Qualifications

• MD degree or equivalent.
• Board eligible or certified in Neurology or Psychiatry.
• Experience and training in neurological disease in older adults, especially dementia, ADRD.

Responsibilities

• Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in research activities within the department.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary Neurology faculty and ADRC teams.
