Job summary

The Human Bean is seeking a capable leader to oversee a coffee stand in California. As Human Bean Manager you will hire, train, and coach a hand-picked team while upholding brand standards and service excellence.

You will develop the business plan, manage staffing and labor, control costs, ensure food safety, and deliver great guest experiences daily. Strong communication and flexibility are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Cashier, money handling experience.
• Be able to work flexible hours (mornings, evenings, weekends & holidays).
• Neat appearance, proper personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes the business plan for the coffee stand.
• Acts as a leader and role model to the team.
• Directly in charge of growing revenue and upsizing year over year.
• Ensures all employees perform their job responsibilities and meet expectations.
• Maintains a fun and enjoyable working environment.
• Communicates clearly to provide direction.
• Open and close the stand each day.
• Delivers excellent customer service.
• Responds quickly to guest and team concerns.
• Hires, trains, and evaluates high quality team members.
• Builds schedules and utilizes labor effectively to meet budget.
• Ensures food safety and sanitation requirements.
• Enforces all standards, policies and labor laws.
• Orders and manages inventory.
