Job summary

The Beach Shops at CSULB is seeking a Coffee Shop Supervisor to assist the Manager with hiring, training, and supervising staff across two campus locations. This full-time position drives day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of service, beverage and food quality, and guest experience.

Responsibilities include staffing, inventory, order guides, and adherence to health, safety, and brand requirements, with opportunities to develop team members and maintain exceptional campus relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in dining, hospitality, or customer service.
• Manager Serve Safe certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• California Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations across two campus coffee shop locations and maintains service standards.
• Provides exceptional customer service and ensures a welcoming guest experience.
• Manages beverage and food production, inventory, and supplies.
• Supervises staff, schedules shifts, and conducts training and evaluations.
• Ensures compliance with safety, sanitation, and brand requirements.
