Forty-Niner Shops at CSULB is seeking a Coffee Services Supervisor to lead two campus coffee shop locations. You will hire, train, supervise, and develop staff while ensuring consistent service, quality, and safety across all shifts.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service excellence, and the ability to manage inventory, cash handling, and daily reporting in a busy university setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree or higher is preferred.
• Three years of related supervisory experience in dining, hospitality, or customer service is required.
• Manager Serve Safe certification or ability to obtain within 30 days is required.
• Valid California Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record and Beach Shops Driver Safety Program within 30 days of hire.
• Valid California Food Handler Card or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff across two CSULB campus coffee shop locations with day‑to‑day operations.
• Ensure beverage/food production meets recipes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Oversee inventory, stock levels, and ordering; manage labor efficiently to meet demand.
• Maintain cash handling, deposits, and daily operational reporting.
• Foster a positive customer experience and professional staff relations.
