Position Overview

The Coffee Shop Cashier is responsible for preparing hot and cold beverages, cookies, and pastries; assisting guests with their orders; ensuring order accuracy; and collecting and processing payments accurately.

This position can be part-time or full-time, with availability during the day, night, and weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Greet and welcome guests upon entry.
2. Assist guests with menu questions.
3. Prepare and ring up guest orders, handle payments, and give change.
4. Stock supplies used during shifts.
5. Maintain accuracy of cash bank.
6. Keep the work environment clean, stocked, and presentable.
7. Clean the outlet at shift end, including dishes, sweeping, mopping, wiping counters, washing windows, and taking out trash.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
