Are you seeking a role in a helpful, fun, and guest-focused environment? We are looking for Cashiers to provide outstanding service to our customers, whom we refer to as guests. As a vital part of our retail team, you'll ensure every shopper leaves eager to return.

Providing excellent guest service is central to our mission. Whether greeting guests, answering questions, or resolving concerns, you'll handle each interaction professionally and with care. Your willingness to assist will positively impact our guests daily.

This is a part-time position, starting at 14+ hours per week.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

• Engage with Guests: Foster friendly conversations, make eye contact, and ensure guests feel welcome.
• Efficient Transactions: Scan items, process sales, and handle monetary transactions carefully.
• Bagging with Care: Bag items thoughtfully to ensure products arrive in good condition.
• Stay Informed: Know current promotions and advertisements to assist guests effectively.
• Maintain Order: Keep your register area tidy and stocked with supplies.
• Communication: Relay guest requests to management to ensure satisfaction.
• Quality Standards: Meet all quality and quantity standards, especially during peak times at 10 am and 5 pm.
• Teamwork: Support team efforts and perform additional duties as needed.
• Attendance: Maintain regular, timely attendance and notify management of absences in advance.

What We're Looking For:

• Customer Service Skills: Ability to engage guests and deliver outstanding service.
• Retail Experience: Experience processing transactions and handling cash/register media.
• Communication: Effective communication with customers and team members.
• Accuracy: Precise reading, counting, and writing skills.
• Equipment Operation: Ability to operate necessary equipment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The physical requirements include standing for long periods, walking, bending, stooping, and kneeling. Fine motor skills and coordination are necessary to operate equipment. Ability to lift and handle merchandise and fixtures, and work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work Schedule:

The schedule is flexible, with options for both part-time and full-time hours, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on your availability.
