Job Title: Barista

General Function: As a Coffee Shop Barista, this position is responsible for reviewing and filling customer orders, handling food safely, and maintaining a clean work area. Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service, exhibiting concern and patience.
• Greet customers warmly and learn their names when possible.
• Assist customers with product location, loading heavy items, and passing along suggestions.
• Answer calls promptly and take customer orders.
• Work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle food safely, maintain cleanliness, and ensure product freshness.
• Prepare, replenish, and check inventory of food items.
• Operate cash registers and process payments.
• Maintain personal hygiene and adhere to dress code.
• Report to work on time as scheduled.

Additional Duties

• Wash dishes, order supplies, price products, and assist in other store areas as needed.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

Work Environment

Compensation

Starting hourly wage ranges from $13.50 to $16.80 depending on experience.
