Black Rifle Coffee Company in Knoxville, TN is seeking a full-time Packaging Technician to operate packaging and bagging equipment on designated product lines. You will label coffee, follow safety procedures, and help ensure products meet quality and food safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 0–1 years experience with packaging equipment, and are able to lift up to 50 lbs. Veterans are encouraged to apply; training is provided in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 0–1 years of experience operating packaging, bagging, or manufacturing equipment; entry-level candidates willing to train are encouraged to apply.
• Previous packaging machine experience helpful.
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
• US Military Veteran a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform the setup and operation of packaging and bagging equipment on designated product lines according to the production schedule.
• Packaging and labeling coffee.
• Ensure all safety devices and guards are fully operational and that safety procedures are being observed.
• Ensure all production complies with quality and food safety standards.
• Clean and sanitize equipment in accordance with food safety standards.
• Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out.
• Perform safety checks on every machine prior to and during runtime.
• Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output.
• Setup operational parameters (run speed, quantity, shapes, and sizes) on machine terminals or controls.
• Record all production performance, counts, downtime, and other quality or production related information as required.
• Participate in production process improvement efforts.
