Job summary

Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center is seeking a hospitality team member to prepare and serve hot or cold beverages, espresso drinks, smoothies, and light food items to guests. You will handle guest orders with precision and provide service that exceeds expectations in a fast-paced resort setting.

Responsibilities include opening/closing duties, cash handling in the POS, and assisting co-workers as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have great customer service and communication skills.
• Receive and process customer payments in POS system.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of using espresso/cappuccino machines a plus.
• Must be able to obtain Food Handler's Card
• TIPS Certification upon hire

Responsibilities

• Performs opening and closing assignments as assigned by management.
• Provide beverage and food service exceeding guest expectations.
• Prepare and deliver coffee, beverage and food orders with accuracy.
• Answer questions about menu items, specials and prices.
• Check appearance, temperature and portions before serving.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth service.
