Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis is seeking a coffee bar attendant to serve Starbucks drinks and other beverages to staff, patients, and visitors in a courteous, efficient manner.

You will handle transactions, maintain clean service areas, restock supplies, and work rotating weekends and holidays with AM and PM shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a customer-facing role.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to work AM & PM shifts, rotating weekends and holidays.
• Making Starbucks drinks as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Performs customer sales transactions by maintaining accuracy, timeliness and following department cash-handling policies and procedures.
• Serves Coffee Bar customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Maintains and organizes stock of items and complies with sanitation guidelines.

Role Purpose

Serves coffee/products to internal and external customers in a polite and courteous manner. Portions product correctly. Keeps service and work areas clean and sanitary. Replenishes product as necessary.
