Job Title: Coffee Bagging Operator

Location: Sunbury, PA

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift:2nd Shift - Sunday-Thursday 2:00pm-10:00pm

Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Job Overview:

The Coffee Bagging Operator is responsible for accurately filling and sealing bags of roasted coffee using semi-automated packaging equipment. This position ensures each package meets weight, quality, and labeling standards while maintaining efficiency and cleanliness at the production station.

What You'll Do:

• Operate mechanical and semi-automated bagging equipment.
• Fill coffee bags to exact specifications, ensuring accurate weights and proper seals.
• Label, box, and stack finished product as required for inventory or shipping.
• Monitor equipment during operation and report malfunctions or quality issues.
• Perform visual and physical quality checks on coffee bags.
• Keep work area clean and organized in compliance with food safety and workplace safety protocols.
• Follow batch records, product changeover procedures, and production schedules.
• Assist with daily setup and shutdown of equipment.
• Operate equipment in accordance with production schedules and quality standards
• Completing accurate logs/forms/checklists for daily record-keeping

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in food manufacturing, packaging, or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to operate basic mechanical equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand for long periods and walk frequently on the production floor.
