POSITION SUMMARY

The CoE Manager, Engineering and Supplier Enablement provides critical support to the Global AWS Supplier Engagement, GCM Business Management, Regional and Local Customer and Internal Operations Team.

Responsible for being the liaison/direct link to the client in shaping the strategic direction of the Global Supplier Enablement Program driving engagement and onboarding standards, adherence, reporting and harmonization through effective project management and continuous improvement support for supplier enablement and process improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with the AWS Supplier Engagement team and Global Supplier Managers to understand supplier enablement requirements supporting the AWS Vendor Managed Inventory model.
  • Translate customer and supplier requirements into a harmonized global Supplier Enablement Program, including standardized processes, workflows, systems, reporting, and scalable site solutions.
  • Partner with Business Management, Customer Enablement, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Solution Design, IT, Automation, Quality, Safety, and other CoE functions to evaluate and implement supplier-enablement solutions.
  • Serve as the global supplier interface across AWS, DSV Global Customer Management, Operations, and supporting functions, building strong relationships and understanding stakeholder requirements.
  • Lead the strategic supplier program for GCM, focusing on operational excellence, process and tool development, governance, compliance, and global standardization.
  • Map current- and future-state processes, identify operational gaps, and develop standardized process flows, SOPs, control points, and implementation playbooks in coordination with Compliance.
  • Establish engineered performance standards and KPIs covering throughput, cycle time, capacity, quality, compliance, cost, and service.
  • Monitor and audit supplier performance, communicate results, and **escalate** significant risks or performance gaps.
  • Identify and implement continuous-improvement, digitalization, and automation opportunities that enhance productivity, visibility, quality, and scalability.
  • Define business and functional requirements for supplier-management tools, reporting platforms, dashboards, data interfaces, and system integrations.
  • Lead or support pilots, proofs of concept, testing, implementation, stabilization, and post-launch performance validation.
  • Ensure supplier solutions comply with applicable DSV and AWS requirements for operations, quality, safety, security, sustainability, and data governance.
  • Benchmark performance across suppliers, sites, and regions to identify and implement transferable best practices.
  • Develop supplier communication and change-management strategies aligned with AWS priorities and DSV's corporate objectives.
  • Maintain a global roadmap and project pipeline for supplier-enablement improvements, engineering initiatives, and technology deployments.
  • Communicate proactively across functions and organizational levels to secure stakeholder alignment, challenge assumptions, and maintain leadership engagement.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline; an engineering degree is preferred.
  • Experience with VMI, supplier operations, warehousing, data-center logistics, technology customers, or complex global accounts is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including process mapping, capacity modeling, productivity analysis, KPI development, quantitative analysis, and business-case preparation.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, value-stream mapping, root-cause analysis, or comparable continuous-improvement methodologies.
  • Experience translating operational requirements into specifications for processes, systems, reporting, digital tools, or automation solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and tactically while leading cross-functional initiatives with limited guidance.
  • Effective communication, mediation, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and leadership skills across organizational levels and geographies.
  • Ability to build alignment, influence decision-makers, and present effectively to senior leadership.
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving global environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience in project-management platforms are beneficial.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding defined business, operational, and program objectives.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $102,000-$127,000 USD Annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
