Emplify Health is hiring a Coding Specialist, Ambulatory Services, to support ophthalmology coding in a remote, Wisconsin-based role serving WI, IA and MN residents within driving distance to La Crosse.

The position is 1.0 FTE (40 hours weekly), Monday–Friday, with a starting wage of $21.63/hr plus experience-based increases and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with matching, PTO, health insurance, wellness programs, tuition reimbursement, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree desired
• Coding Certification Required - CPC, CPC-A, CCA, COC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA or RHIT
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare facility, healthcare business office or equivalent education.

We are seeking a Coding Specialist, Ambulatory Services, to join our growing and thriving organization.

What's Available

1.0 FTE (40 hours weekly), full-time Monday-Friday, dayshift hours. Location: We only accept candidates from WI, IA, and MN. This is a Remote position; however candidates must live within a reasonable driving distance to La Crosse, WI. Focus: Ophthalmology.

What you need

• High School Diploma or equivalent required - associate's degree desired
• Coding Certification Required - CPC, CPC-A, CCA, COC, CCS, CCS-P, or RHIA or RHIT.
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare facility, healthcare business office or equivalent education.
• 1 year of Coding experience desired
