Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a Coding Quality Specialist 2 to verify ICD-10-CM, CPT, and modifier coding for E/M services across locations. You will review documentation, resolve charge reviews, and guide junior staff in coding accuracy and policy compliance.

The role is based in Charlottesville, VA with a focus on adherence to government and payer guidelines and ongoing coder education. A CPC or CCS-P credential is required along with relevant clinical coding experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years of coding/clinical experience.
• CPC through AAPC or CCS-P through AHIMA to qualify for all functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Reviews documentation to assign ICD-10-CM, CPT-4, HCPCS and modifiers to capture services.
• Reviews and resolves charge sessions and follow-up work queues.
• Mentors Coding Quality Specialist Level 1 staff and assists coders with terminology.
