NYU Langone Health in Florida is seeking a Coding Integrity Specialist to review and audit clinical documentation for accurate reimbursement and regulatory compliance. The role reports to the Coding Quality Manager and involves providing guidance to offshore teams and developing coding policies.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree with 4–6 years in healthcare auditing/revenue cycle, extensive coding knowledge, and familiarity with RAC processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required with 4–6 years in auditing/revenue cycle in healthcare.
• Certified coding credentials (CCS/CCS-P/CPC/COC) preferred or required.
• Strong knowledge of coding principles and guidelines; RAC process familiarity.

Responsabilidades

• Audit clinical documentation, CPT-4, HCPCS, modifiers and ICD-10 coding for accurate reimbursement and CMS/commercial payer compliance.
• Develop reports reflecting audit findings and trends; report to leadership.
• Communicate complex information clearly in oral and written form to diverse audiences.
• Provide coding, billing, and compliance guidance to offshore coding teams.
• Analyze risks versus benefits in provider billing and bill audit decisions; escalate as needed.
• Update coding standards using CMS, AMA, OIG resources; assist policy development.
• Monitor billing/coding changes affecting charge capture per payer requirements.
• Prepare and present coding materials at revenue cycle meetings.
