Job summary

Impact Kids in Milwaukee is seeking a passionate Coding Instructor to teach coding to children aged 4 to 18. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience working with kids and must be able to create a fun and engaging learning environment while providing clear communication.

Responsibilities include supervising students and implementing coding lessons, ensuring safety, and serving as a positive role model. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.

Candidates must pass child abuse clearance and criminal checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of previous experience working with children.
• 1-5 years of coding instructor/teaching experience required.
• Ability to use clear and concise language in communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students and provide coding instruction.
• Create and implement coding lessons for ages 4-18.
• Ensure a safe and fun learning environment.
• Collaborate with fellow Activity Specialists on responsibilities.
