Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking experienced Coding Instructors to teach kids in after-school programs. Candidates should bring high energy, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping children learn coding concepts.

The role requires at least 2 years working with children and 1–5 years of coding teaching experience. You will review curricula, supervise students, and collaborate with a team to create a safe, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children; coding instructor experience (1–5 years) required.
• Must possess high energy, positive approach and desire to impact kids’ lives through coding.
• Excellent written and oral communication with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students and provide coding and technology instruction.
• Create a safe, fun learning environment and be a positive role model.
• Organize daily plans for coding activities for ages 4–18; differentiate for abilities.
• Promote skill development and proficiency in fundamental coding through instruction.
• Manage behavior, health and safety, and group dynamics.
• Ensure safety of students and team members at all times.
• Collaborate with fellow Activity Specialists on daily responsibilities.
• Adhere to the Impact Kids Code of Conduct and company policies.
• Have fun and model Impact Kids Core Values.
