Job Summary:

Develops and coordinates the delivery of coding educational programs. Promotes consistency and accuracy of coding and documentation practices. Acts as a liaison for coding questions and concerns between providers, coding, corporate responsibilities, and educational departments.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing provider documentation and coding competency, identifying improvement opportunities, and developing training.
• Serving as a subject matter expert for providers and coders, providing guidance on daily issues.
• Establishing quality review processes and training for providers and coders.
• Evaluating documentation for clarity, completeness, and consistency; educating providers on coding guidelines.
• Performing audits and developing education based on findings.
• Maintaining clear communication with coding and corporate teams.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of relevant experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting/carrying of objects up to 25 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive movements.
• Use of vision, hearing, speech, and keyboard skills.
• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
• Rare climbing.

Work Details:

• Day shift (US-based)
• Full-time, 40 hours/week
