Job summary

CRMC, located on the Main Campus in Crosby, MN, seeks a Coding Compliance and Education Specialist to strengthen coding accuracy and documentation quality. You will analyze revenue cycle data, identify discrepancies, and educate providers and staff to improve billing practices.

The HIM department ensures accurate medical records, secure access, and regulatory compliance, supporting system updates and training. CRMC offers growth and a comprehensive benefits package in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Willing to obtain CDIP, CPMA, CEMC, or CPC-I within 12 months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field; RHIA or RHIT certification preferred.
• ICD-10 training certification.
• Extent training and/or experience

Responsibilities

• Analyze changes in revenue cycle data and identify discrepancies.
• Provide targeted education to improve documentation to healthcare providers and staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve billing accuracy and regulatory adherence.
• Conduct regular audits to monitor compliance and refine materials.
• Support system updates and training materials for new standards.
