Job summary

Premier Health is seeking a Coding Analyst to audit, train, and monitor medical information and provider documentation for the Premier Physician Network. This role reports to the CDI & Coding Quality Manager.

Responsibilities include research and follow-up on coding compliance, on-call support, staff training, and chart audits. Collaboration with physicians, practice managers, and corporate and hospital teams ensures accurate coding and appropriate reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation, organizational and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding.
• Experience with physician office coding.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Certification in CPC/CCS-P/RHIA/RHIT/CCA within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Audit coding and documentation for compliance.
• Provide training on coding and documentation for staff.
• Serve as on-call resource for the network.
• Collaborate with CDI & Coding Quality Manager on issues.
• Interact with physicians, practice managers and staff.
• Participate in chart audits and monitoring of reimbursement.
