Position SummaryThe Coding Analyst is responsible for supporting the professional coding function through data analysis, operational reporting, workflow optimization, and technology administration. This role develops and maintains coding performance dashboards, monitors key operational and financial metrics, and provides actionable insights to support decision-making, compliance oversight, and revenue cycle performance. The position analyzes coding quality, productivity, denial trends, reimbursement outcomes, and payer policy changes to identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements.Working collaboratively with coding leadership, billing teams, IT, vendors, and operational stakeholders, the analyst supports workflow design. The role also assists with vendor performance management, staffing and productivity benchmarking, technology evaluation, and the optimization of coding automation and AI-assisted solutions.
