• Credentialed by the American Health Information Management Association within 6 months.

As an Outpatient Coder at MercyOne Genesis, you will assign ICD-9-CM codes to diseases and procedures for statistical and financial purposes.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 8:00am - 4:30pm

General Requirements:

• Credentialed by the American Health Information Management Association or American Academy of Professional Coders within 6 months of hire
• Experience preferred
• ICD-CM Coding and CPT training/experience (preferred)

Education:

• 2 year Health Information Management college program or equivalent experience
