McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is seeking a Certified Coder to join our coding team. The role requires accurate assignment of diagnoses, procedures, E/M visits, and diagnostic testing using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.

Two years of healthcare coding experience is preferred, with chart auditing experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to research documentation to produce actionable reports. A supportive, collaborative environment and competitive compensation are offered.

Job Summary:

• Certified Coder required.
• Working knowledge of basic medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes.
• Preferred experience in multiple specialties including: Cardiology, Cardiology diagnostic testing, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Critical Care, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Vascular Surgery and Vascular Imaging services.
• Ability to assign codes to diagnoses, procedures, E&M visits, and diagnostic testing.
• Ability to research and analyze clinical documentation as well as produce reports from a variety of sources.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform chart audits, perform provider education, and build positive working relationships.

Educational/Licensing:
